Wind is the third placed Italian operator providing fixed line, mobile and Internet services. Wind is a joint venture between ENEL and France Telecom, totalling 1.5m subscribers. Wind uses Smarten for fulfilment, provision and billing of Internet services. Wind also supports the Italian portal for Yahoo!

Albacom is a wireline operator specialising in Business to Business services. Albacom is a joint venture between BT and Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. Albacom have 400,000 subscribers and use Smarten Software to support Virtual ISPs such as La Repubblica group's Kataweb and Jumpy, the Mediaset groups Internet services.

Netbusiness also use Smarten software for voice services.

FST specialise in Application Service provision and are currently deploying Smarten.
